Lecture – The Boar’s Head Playhouse delivered by Senior Archaeologist Heather Knight
- What: A 1 hour lecture (followed by wine and cake) by Senior Archaeologist Heather Knight, who led the recent excavation at the Boar’s Head, about the playhouse’s raucous history of comedy and performance, and what new information has been revealed about its structure and development.

Walking Tours – The Playhouses of East and North London
- What: A 1.5 hour walking tour around the neighbourhoods surrounding the Boar’s Head, placing the Playhouse in its context and looking at historical sites which tell the story of how Elizabethan Drama culture developed to the east and north of the city walls.
- When: Saturday 2nd November at 12.30 [sold out] or 15.00 [3 tickets left), and Saturday 23rd November at 10.30 or 14.00
- Where: The tour starts at Aldgate East Station and ends at St Leonard’s Church, Shoreditch.
